Yanlin Wu is a London-based fashion designer originally from China, immersed in the raw vibrancy of London’s underground culture. With a fine art background and a research-led approach, she transforms emotional tension into bold, tactile forms — blending subversive sensuality with meticulous craftsmanship.

Her MA graduation collection, Beyond the Gaze, presented at London Fashion Week AW25 and featured in Vogue Runway, Dazed, and Outlander Magazine, challenges the male gaze and redefines eroticism through gender-inclusive, rebellious design.

Through playful prototyping and raw material choices, from laminated horsehair to industrial relics, Yanlin crafts garments that move between intimacy and confrontation. Her work builds a visual language where identity is questioned, reclaimed, and reimagined.

Rather than simply building a brand, Yanlin is shaping a practice — one that stays restless, precise, and unapologetically her own.
